We recently toured this beautiful home in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood, up for sale for currently just under $1.7M (listed by Douglas Elliman Real Estate. What really stands out about this property is the French country house charm, and it also helps that it's in a highly sought-after neighborhood on a sizeable lot. Combining an A/B unit, the front house has 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, a large kitchen and cozy living area. It's connected to the guest house via a large yard that has a free standing sauna, an airstream and a small above-the-ground pool, not to mention a beautiful tall pomegranate and a large fig tree. The guest house is tucked away in the back of the property behind a privacy fence, and has a completely separate entrance from the back street.
As it often is, the kitchen is what pulled us in initially to go tour the home.
This is a great little coffee bar area with a drink faucet and a peg rail for mugs.
You can easily see why this design drew us in. The perfectly coordinated color scheme gives this kitchen a serene calming vibe and they have put in great effort in maintaining the charm of the house. The soft white and beige color is carried through the bathrooms. The primary bathrooms has large soaking tub with a view into the yard while a scallop sink on antique furniture continues with the romantic soft style of this house. The second bathroom is entirely color-drenched in sand color.
This image also shows the above the ground outdoor pool in the yard.
While the common areas are all in neutral beige white tones, the bedrooms show character with whimsical wallpaper in different but complementary patterns.
The outside of the house has a farm house style look with green accent paint complementing the trees and shrubs in the yard.
A fenced in porch leads to the main entrance of the main front house. I imagine this could be a great mud room with a bench and some peg rails to hang a few hats or bags.
The property has a high privacy fence to Mary Street which makes it feel secluded.
